NST (Non-Stress Test)
Pregnancy monitoring test that records fetal heart rate without uterine contractions.
The non-stress test is used to assess fetal well-being, especially after 28 weeks of gestation. Two probes placed on the mother's abdomen simultaneously record fetal heart rate and any uterine contractions.
The test takes 20-40 minutes, requires no preparation and the mother rests in a comfortable position.
