ECG (Electrocardiography)
Rapid, painless basic cardiology test that graphically records the electrical activity of the heart.
ECG is the first test used to assess rhythm disorders, coronary ischemia, myocardial infarction, cardiac enlargement and electrolyte imbalances. Electrodes placed on the chest, arms and legs record the heart's electrical signals.
The test takes 5-10 minutes and requires no preparation.
