The biochemistry panel includes liver enzymes (AST, ALT, GGT), kidney function (urea, creatinine), electrolytes (sodium, potassium, chloride), lipid profile (cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides) and fasting glucose.
The sample is usually drawn in the morning after 8-12 hours of fasting.
