ABR / BERA (Auditory Brainstem Response)
Objective hearing test that measures the brainstem's electrical response to sound stimuli.
ABR/BERA is used to determine objective hearing thresholds in infants and in patients who cannot cooperate. It also helps evaluate auditory nerve and brainstem lesions.
The test takes 30-60 minutes and the patient must be calm or lightly asleep.
